Special Session - Community Outreach Activities and Service Learning Projects Focusing on Freshwater Sciences
The Education and Diversity Committee is organizing one or two special sessions on outreach and educational activities that promote freshwater science at all education levels (K-12 students, their teachers and post-secondary students). We want to highlight some of the outreach activities of NABS members during this special session and learn what types of activities have the best chance for success. We would like you to participate in this special session to highlight what works when doing outreach activities and service learning projects so others can learn how to best design and implement these types of educational endeavours.
