Special Session - Crayfish Ecology
With over 350 taxa, North America is home to the greatest diversity of crayfish in the world. Crayfish fill a variety of ecological roles and occur in most freshwater habitats. In spite of their taxonomic and ecological diversity, surprisingly little is know about most crayfish species. This secession examines aspects of crayfish ecology, including life history patterns, habitat use, and the effects of non-native crayfish.
