As part of a continuing study of the diversity of macroinvertebrates of Wildcat Creek and nearby waterways, species of dragonflies (Odonata: Anisoptera) and damselflies (Odonata: Zygoptera) collected since 1959 were identified by the authors and cooperating specialists. The specimens of all these species, including both larvae and adults, are maintained in the Clemson University Arthropod Collection. Additional records were obtained from publications and from student collections, where identifications have been confirmed. A total of 35 species of dragonflies and 8 species of damselflies representing 10 North American odonate families is reported from North Forest.
